What Radial Reunion Is All About
The Staggerwing & Radial Reunion is a gathering for everyone interested in round-engine aircraft. It began with the idea of hosting a Fly-in for Beechcraft Staggerwing owners in the FL/GA area, but quickly grew as other round-engine owners showed interest in joining the fun. Having a round-engine plane is not a requirement to attend, however. Anyone with an interest is welcome to join us!
In 2017 (our innaugural year), we were amazed at the turnout we received. Planes came from as far as Colorado, and we even had a few airline pilots from Europe who changed their schedules in order to attend. Each year since has brought attendees from clear across the country, and coorespondence from pilots around the world expressing their interest in attending.
After hosting the event in Jacksonville, FL for 3 years, we will be hosting the 2020 event at Peach State Aerodrome near Atlanta, GA. Peach State Aerodrome (GA2) is geared toward vintage aircraft, and will be a perfect location for our event. More information about the airport can be found at www.peachstateaero.com
